Madewell, a new clothing store in Century City, had a super party for the holidays. The tasty goodies started before you even got in the door. Donuts, anyone? These were mini-fried doughnuts with a choice of toppings. You were questioned as you entered. Powdered sugar? Chocolate? Maple honey? Oreo Cookie? or Vanilla? What a fun way to start a bash—with a great dessert at the very beginning!  more: Movie Review The Holiday. . . . . .is almost like an old-fashioned Romantic Comedy - and I mean that in a GOOD way!   I'm not sure why, but I went with low expectations.   I didn't EXPECT to like this movie - but I was surprised.
