August 2009 Face of the Month - Inbal Amariv(Annabelle)

Annabelle was born in Ramat HaSharon and grew up in Hod HaSharon, the countryside of Israel. She attended a University in Hifa.

"I feel that I grew a lot mentally and emotionally during that time.  I studied Biology in the program of Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biotechnology. Science fascinates me, but I am driven by art."—Annabelle

When did you come to LA?
Moved to Los Angeles a year ago and I love it here. I am inspired by all the artists in this city that strive to pursue their dreams. It's a very international and creative city!

Tell us something interesting about yourself.
I served in the army (it's mandatory in Israel). I'm trained in the repair and use of a sniper's M-16 carbine as well as the special electro-optic equipment.  I prefer it to the uzi.

Best friends?
So many to name. I connect very fast with people who have a good heart.

So you're...
an actress, model, free spirit . . . I'm not sure how to describe myself. I guess you'll just have to meet me and find out.
 
Have you ever had a soul mate?
There was someone I was in love with for years. He is very close to my heart, but it didn't work out.
I'm sure that once I meet my soul mate things will flow. It will be "meant to be." It will be amazing.

What would you be doing if you weren't doing this?
I would have been a biologist but my soul yearns to act. This is my passion. I'm very happy that I get to do what I love.

What do you see yourself doing 5 years from now?
Acting in action and drama films. Basically working on films that people love going to see.

What makes you happy?
Love—my friends—my family—chocolate mousse (yaami!)—animals. I grew up in a house with lots of animals; a dog and five cats, but I travel too
much for that now.

What's the coolest thing you've ever done?
I completed a marathon. Tiberias marathon, its in Isreal; I had this feeling of both sheer exhaustion and utter euphoria!
