Madonna at age 50 is well known for her high levels of health and fitness but the question presented is, has she gone too far? Madonna has taken her fitness to epic levels by injecting vitamins, building a full scale gym 20 yards from her home and having 24 hour access to every form of health and fitness professional under the sun. So can you work out too much? Recent candid photos have shown Madonna’s killer arms progressively appearing more and more emancipated. She is obviously in great health but would we consider her doing too much now?

Her discipline is elite, rising 8 a.m. daily for her Ashtange Yoga (advanced yoga) before breakfast, the secret to her low body fat. Even if the night before went late she would simply work out at 10 a.m. as opposed to skipping her routine. Prior to lunch she enjoys her Winsor Pilates and as for specialized toning training she and gal pal Gwyneth Paltrow head over to their go-to-girl trainer Tracy Anderson (tracyandersonmethod.com).

Madonna’s diet has been centered around the macrobiotic diet which consist of whole unprocessed and organic foods like brown rice, whole grains, vegetables, etc. It is heavy on white meat and fish while being devoid of spices and a strict restriction on alcohol and nicotine. Overall Madonna has got a great program set for her life and as long as she is happy she is doing fantastic. Aesthetically she might be doing a bit too much in my opinion but she is she is in elite health so this health professional will give credit where credit is due, kudos Madonna.
