Hollywood It Girls Zoe Winkler and Xela Mandel Hosted GUESS & Lucky Magazine Event Benefiting Children’s Action Network

GUESS, the American lifestyle brand famous for its trend setting denim and unforgettable campaigns, and Lucky magazine, were thrilled to celebrate an exciting new season of holiday fashion with a private cocktail reception hosted by Hollywood it-girls Zoe Winkler and Xela Mandel. This exclusive event to benefit the Children’s Action Network took place at the GUESS Beverly Center location on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.

Co-hosts Zoe Winkler and Xela Mandel hosted this holiday shopping event in style. Zoe Winkler, the native Los Angeles resident and daughter of Henry Winkler, consistently immerses herself in fashion and events. She is a constant fixture on the Hollywood social scene and is an avid philanthropist, generously giving her time to various charities in the Los Angeles area. Xela Mandel, born and raised in Los Angeles, began her career working at E! Entertainment helping develop hit shows such as Taradise and Celebrity Cattle Drive. After deciding to explore other opportunities, Xela channeled her love of fashion and design into her family’s couture shoe business, Cydney Mandel Handmade Shoes, and was even named upcoming it-shoe designer of the year by Elle Magazine.

Local taste-makers and influentials enjoyed specialty cocktails while shopping the seasons newest fashion styles. A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited Children’s Action Network, an organization that is dedicated to finding homes for the hundreds of thousands of children in the United States waiting for a family to adopt them. Children’s Action Network works with members of the entertainment industry to create awareness and better the lives of the children throughout the county in foster care.

Along with every purchase, shoppers had the chance to sign up for GUESS List, the loyalty program from GUESS, and also received an exclusive gift with their purchase which included products from GUESS, Lucky magazine, ESSIE, philosophy, M.A.C. and many more. Guests also received a 20% discount on their purchase when they donated a minimum of $5 to Children’s Action Network.
