I’ve always loved to watch the Academy Awards, whether I’m doing it with a big group like I did at the Hyatt Hotel in Century City last year or just in my den with my dog and a big screen TV. Either way, the experience is always the same for me: hopeful and engaged. This year’s Oscars was very entertaining. It seemed to flow better than past shows.

Actor sightings are all the rage at Sundance. Park City locals and film pros alike are buzzing about who is where, and swag boutiques compete to bestow apparel that familiar faces wear on red carpets around this otherwise quiet town.
On The Daily Buzz, “Hot Topics” segment Eugene Hernandez hosted Thompson on Hollywood’s Ann Thompson, Movie City News’ David Poland, MPRM Co-Founder and Co-President Mark Pogachevsky and others who expounded on the sentiment that “we’ve become Twitter-ized,” with Pogachevsky commenting that “we don’t have the kind of depth of thought and conversation” that existed in the past.”

There’s a lot to be said for free “stuff!” From my observations, people are really inclined to make an appearance if they’re promised a loaded swag bag. I used to suffer from that affliction until my office storage room began to overflow—that being one of the main reasons I personally stopped attending gifting suites.
A fashion model’s body has been coveted by countless women since the dawn of the runway. A model’s slim silhouette has dictated the standard fashion industry dress size and, unfortunately, the unrealistic standards many women all too often hold themselves to. Every category of fashion calls for a variant shape, as each shape calls for a different fitness and nutritional approach for the best results.
With the sunlight streaming through, models and stylists were busy at work creating just the right look for designers Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham who were to present the following looks of coats, coat dresses, oversized cardigans and jodhpurs sprinkled with plaid, wool, and thigh high leather boots.
