There is a barrier separating the blood in your body from the blood in your brain because of the micro vessels in your brain. This wonderful little nut contains elements that can cross that blood brain barrier to aid in keeping you thinking clearly and feeling great.

Almonds help us when producing adrenaline, noradrenalin and dopamine to aid in healing and pain control. Not to mention these little guys pack riboflavin and L-carnitine which also help in the brain power process. I suggest you find yourself some almonds and find creative ways to work them into your day, even if it is just a handful at a time for a snack!
