Forté Carter: Veteran Independent Musician and Her Take on Personal Style

It’s one thing when someone else books for you, but since I am an artist and I have a business edge, I want to make sure that everything is taken care of. And maybe I should let somebody else do that, but there have been times when someone else has done it for me and I walked in, and things weren’t as comfortable as I would have wanted them to be. Symphony for the Dance Floor, Daniel Bernard Roumain – Jonathan Mannion

To describe the experience of attending Symphony for the Dance Floor, it is important to give just a little background on the genesis of the project. Roumain’s music inhabits various spots along the continuum from Hip Hop to western classical music with other cultural influences in between.

Are Both Political Parties Bought by Special Interests?

Are both political parties bought by special interests? The Congress of the United States will vote depending on the amount of money given to them by special interests. Politicians really do not care whether it is oil or gas, insurance or pharmaceutical, defensive or offensive weapons, Wall Street or Main Street, Medicare or No Care. “Show us the money and we’ll show you the legislation you want.”

LUV ALWA’Z – Enlightening Audiences with His In-Your-Face Lyrics to Make You Think and Spread a Message of Love and Acceptance

LUV ALWA’Z was a name his father gave him. ALWA’Z Carey’s motto has always been, “Don’t love sometimes; love always.” I was involved in helping get an impromptu music video done for ALWA’Z Carey and discovered his music during the production and post production of the music video for his song, “Wearz I’m From.”

Theatrical distribution is the hardest kind of distribution to obtain from a distributor. So the dirty little secret is if you’re not in one of those top three, you can probably forget about it. However, most people don’t realize that there are a number of films picked up not at those festivals, and usually after they’ve built some kind of pedigree.
