Doris Bergman’s Fourth Annual Valentine Romance Oscar Lounge & Party

MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN & OMAR OSAMANI GAULTFor the fourth fabulous year, on Feb 7, Doris Bergman hosted a Pre-Valentine Oscar Gifting Suite at Café La Boheme to offer Hollywood Insiders and VIPs a chance for a sneak peak at some of the hottest new fashions, cosmetics, gourmet cuisine, sweets, and more.

The event was sponsored by world-renowned couture designer Sanaz Afsar for SAFIR and produced by Doris in association with Michelle Lee Faulkner.

Over 100 celebs enjoyed the party, getting the opportunity to mix and mingle with friends, eat delicious food, and visit the various booths showing the beautiful array of gifts.

DEIDRE HALL Some of the familiar faces included the lovely Ann Lopez, handsome hunk Anontio Sabato Jr., Chris McDonald, Diedre Hall, Eric & Eliza Roberts, Judd Nelson, Kimberly Elise, Kevin Eubanks, Carla & Lou Ferrigno, Rosa Blasi, Marina Sirtis, Obba Babbatunde, Omarosa, Oscar & Ursala Nunez, “Castle’s” Tamala Jones, “Criminal Minds’” Thomas Gibson, Marisa Ramirez, and Sofia Milos.

William & Elizabeth Shatner beamed into the party just hours before they were leaving for Broadway, where Shatner opens his solo show at the Music Box Theatre on February 14, entitled “Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It.” In honor of opening night, Sanaz Afsar for SAFIR gifted Elizabeth Shatner with a stunning off-the-shoulder blue/gray silk gown, embellished with hand-sewn Swarowski crystals!  We know she’ll look out of this world!

WILLIAM & ELIZABETH SHATNERTo go with her gown, she might have chosen one of the striking evening bags by Charlie Lapson, and under her gown, some sexy lingerie by Dulcenea.  Other items sure to make any woman happy were fabulous fragrances Insatiable Blu & Insatiable Pink by Azure Skye™; and to get ready for any evening out, wonderful bath and shower treats by Spongeables® LLC. To make a woman look beautiful any night or day were Michael Marcus Cosmetics, and Michael himself was at the event to apply some of his products to the beautiful celebs there. Another person on site was a gal with a new invention, a product to use to keep eye makeup from smudging on your face when applying it.  Her Nu-4-You Eye Make-up Fallout Protector is a cool little tool!

For other occasions, there were smart chic dresses from Single® by Galina Sobolev. I loved the sheaths in various styles and colors, with eye-catching necklines and details.  And for accessorizing, there was great jewelry by Luscious, and by Twisted Silver.

LOUIS GOSSETT ,JR. There were plenty of gifts for men, too, like fine tailored wear from Art Lewin & Co. Custom Clothiers, and to keep what’s beneath their clothes smooth and perfect, products from the NICKEL Skin Care Line for men.  OMG, everyone at this party is going to be forever looking and smelling sooooo sweet!

Both gals and guys were clustered around the Baron Hat booth, where fabulous straw, plastic, and fabric chapeaus were being tried on. I donned an oh-so-cool brown one with colorful pink, green, and yellow stripes. I will be strutting my stuff and looking so baaaad!

“There are so many beautiful things here.  I am overwhelmed,” said the beautiful Brandi Glanville of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“This is amazing!” said former Oscar Winner Michael Clarke Duncan. “Such amazing gifts, delicious food, a wonderful ambiance, and I’m running into so many of my friends!” “Yes, this is really an A-class event!” added former Oscar Winner Louis Gossett Jr. “I’ve been to many gifting lounges, but nothing like this! I feel so honored to have been invited!” added “Dancing with the Stars” diva Karina Smirnoff.

In the spirit of giving back, guests brought new or slightly worn clothing to donate to Operation Dress Up! a student-run California non-profit organization. All heads turned when “Criminal Minds” Joe Mantegna showed up with a box-load of clothing for donation to the charity! The box was so big that his assistant had to help Joe carry it into the venue! What a guy!

Café La Boheme’s delicious cuisine was created by 5-star executive chef, Christine Banta.
