Rolando Santana Autumn/Winter 2012 Runway During Mercedes Benz Fashion Week NY

At the EYEBEAM Atelier in New York City, designer Rolando Santana recaptured the mood of the 70s by his variety of sequins, silk lamé, and modern embroidery.  This attention to detail and retro flair, imbued with exciting production values, made for a captivating fashion show.

“The 70s were a time when women were carefree in what they wore and how they lived their lives, and were really coming into their own.  It was so inspiring to capture those moments in my fall collection,” says Rolando Santana.

Santana used a variety of sheens, textures, and subtle gold contrasts, which enhanced the 70s Hollywood glitz of his collection.  This was a collection filled with beautiful pieces and true retro staying power.
