Professional makeup artist Claudio Riaz has a message for makeup lovers: Flawless does not have to be complicated. We all know that it’s a good idea to put on sunscreen. Most of us are just trying to keep from getting burned, and at worst . . . developing a nasty little melanoma that might go wonky, turn malignant, and set out to kill us. But there’s more to sunscreen than just protecting against cancer.
The never-ending quest for beauty has led us to some pretty unusual (Vampire Facial, anyone?) places. The constant advertised onslaught of quick fixes, strange remedies, and fabulous cure-alls are enough to keep the curiosity of even the most jaded beauty junkies.
