I met Chase Masterson at an event held at Agenda Loft for a red carpet event last year. We became fast friends and I discovered that Chase is not only a multitalented actor and singer, but she has a heart for those in need.

It’s one thing when someone else books for you, but since I am an artist and I have a business edge, I want to make sure that everything is taken care of. And maybe I should let somebody else do that, but there have been times when someone else has done it for me and I walked in, and things weren’t as comfortable as I would have wanted them to be. So now I just take that little extra time I have and I make sure that everything is in order from A-Z.

LUV ALWA’Z was a name his father gave him. ALWA’Z Carey’s motto has always been, “Don’t love sometimes; love always.” I was involved in helping get an impromptu music video done for ALWA’Z Carey and discovered his music during the production and post production of the music video for his song, “Wearz I’m From.”

I really need that element of science fiction, fantasy, or paranormal activity. That’s what keeps me guessing about what’s just around the corner. Once you sense that the world you’re seeing is different from the world we know, all bets are off.
Sexy Chamber Music with a Tango Twist: A CD Review of LA CAMORRA TANGO – 15 YEARS and a Compelling Interview with the Pioneering QuintetBy Kaylene Peoples | December 6th, 2010 | Category: CD Reviews, Indie Hotspot, Indie Hotspot Feature | 28 comments
Astor Piazzolla’s music is no doubt the main influence of “La Camorra’s” music. But we should say that from the very beginning we’ve arranged and composed our own tango pieces, and nowadays I would say that we’ve reached our own sound—La Camorra’s sound.
I have a general concept of what I want to create, especially as a whole series. But then for the individual pieces I’ll start with a piece of imagery or a drawing that I’ve done and just work with it. Especially when I do my drawings because it’s really free, although there’s no going back with pens. (Her latest series is created with blue and red ball point pens.) I build it up really slowly. It just somehow forms into something that I like.
Producer, Engineer, and Mixer Rich Mouser Deemed the Guru of Indie Rock: Steadily Raising the Bar of Quality RecordingsBy Kaylene Peoples | May 1st, 2010 | Category: Indie Hotspot, Indie Hotspot Feature, Videos | 4 comments
Deemed the guru of indie rock, Rich Mouser has recorded countless bands. His specialty is certainly in the guitar-driven rock genre. He has helped cultivate the sound of emerging indie bands and has polished established acts inside and outside of the country. He’s one of the most respected progressive rock engineers and mixers and has worked with Transatlantic, Spock’s Beard, Dream Theater, and more. Within the last few years, Mouser has imported Irish talent (Jaded Sun, Paul Toal, and Lancelot), produced their albums, and helped to establish their sound. It’s not so far-fetched that bands outside of the country have traveled here just to have the opportunity to work with this talented producer.
