Agenda Magazine Spring 2008 Real—Women-Real Fashion This Spring, Agenda Magazine celebrates real women. We interview the designers Rachel Pally, who started her "White" label, which is selling exclusively at Nordstrom; and Devon Ball of Saigewear, who designs active wear and leisure wear. Both of these lines cater to plus size women. Since losing weight can be so challenging and confusing, we brought fitness trainer/nutritionist Anthony Heredia on board to help our readers figure it all out. This season launches the new column, "Fitness Couture," where Heredia instructs women how to drop a dress size in one month. Also featured in this issue, are runway show reviews from our editor's recent trip to New York Fashion Week. Kaylene Peoples reviews the following designers' fall collections: Vivienne Tam, Tracy Reese, Jayson Brundson, Vlademar Iódice, Joanna Mastroianni, and Lela Rose. Ash Gupta of Studio 838 presents three fashion editorials featuring the designs of Coco Johnsen and Neiman Tate, as well as a portrait series of singer/actress Apollonia. Read the book review on Water for Elephants, and enjoy our usual columns, "Talking Chic" and "Insights." "Talking Chic" columnist Elana has a new blog—"Good Girl Gone Shopping"—and recently did a story on chief editor Kaylene Peoples and writer Marilyn Anderson. Marilyn Anderson and Dennis Lanning outdo themselves this issue. They traveled through Vancouver, Redondo Beach, and Seattle, and painted a vivid picture of their adventurous journeys. You won't want to miss this issue of "Romance on the Road." What's coming. . . In May, the Indie Hotspot resurfaces with CD reviews and interviews. Beth Shaw of Yogafit will be contributing to Agenda Magazine's new fitness section. We will learn alternative ways of working out and look good doing it. Beth Shaw has an impressive clothing line of yoga and fitness wear, as well as countless workout DVDs to help you get into your best physical and mental shape ever. So sit back and get ready for the wild ride! Agenda Magazine Spring Issue #18 - Enter |
