Zocalo Designs was created to celebrate the talent of local artisans
from around the world. Zocalo, a Mexican-Spanish word meaning "town
square,” was chosen to reflect the goal of community-building,
focusing not only on the product, but on the exhibition of creativity
and individuality of international artisans. The artists represented
by Zocalo Designs range from a woman’s cooperative in Chiapas,
Mexico who make indigenous-inspired clothing, to traveling artisans
and jewelers from the beaches of Tulum, to handmade tapestries and handbags
from Guatemala and Spain.
Adina’s mission in creating Zocalo Designs is to brings together
a community of artists and promote creative expression from the heart.
The prices of this collection are moderately priced and affordable.
