M The Movement - Proving That Green Doesn't Have to Be Boring!
M, the creator of M The Movement eco-friendly clothing line, is doing everything he can to help the environment through his "green" fashion designs. He has experimented with soybean, bamboo, charcoal, and organic cotton, and has come up with an array of fun, wearable eco-friendly clothes. M designs for men, women, and children, and is proving that green doesn't have to be boring. After I learned a little more about the man behind M, his mission became very clear.

Going Green with Smart Glass Design
As a young child, Kathleen Plate was interested in stained glass—her mother crafted glass pieces in the 70s, which led to her designing with glass. This hobby flourished, and in the 90s, Plate sold her pieces at local stores. Instead of completing her PHD in American Literature, Kathleen Plate decided to launch her own hand-crafted jewelry and accessories line nationwide.

Emily Factor - Creating Original Hand-Drawn Fractal Prints Combining Colors and Movement
Emily Factor debuted her line only months after graduating from London's Central St. Martin's College in Fashion Design and Textile Print. Factor also holds a degree from FIDM and has spent a lot of time working in the fashion industry. Having apprenticed with Zandra Rhodes, as well as making it her standard to utilize local production and non-industrial techniques, Factor recognizes the need for this type of environmentally-conscious ideology, especially during the production of making clothes. The fabrics she uses have organic fibers, reclaimed materials, and absolutely no animal products.
