On April 18th, 2025, the Nashville Symphony presented Bluebird at the Symphony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, featuring Brett James, Hillary Lindsey, and Cary Barlowe. This unique collaboration paired the rich, orchestral sound of the Nashville Symphony with the raw storytelling of Nashville’s top songwriters, creating an unforgettable evening of music. Highlights included a heartwarming performance by Lindsey and Barlowe’s daughter, Bennett, and a powerful encore of “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “When the Sun Goes Down.”
