Beauty Breakdown: White StoryBy Shahada Karim | August 8th, 2012 | Category: Beauty | No Comments »
This month, Agenda’s The Mission features the editorial: White Story. Our model, Polyanna, hails from Colombia, and we thought it would be wonderful to dress her primarily in white, but color her face and hair in a series of bright and unusual combinations.
Hairstylist Bianca Lauren used a wide selection of products to take Polyanna’s hair from demure to extreme. She kept Polyanna’s tresses deeply conditioned with Curls “Cashmere Curls” leave in conditioner and Macadamia Natural Oil “Healing Oil Spray.”
As the ensembles got more extreme, Lauren shaped a blonde bang with Bb Gel by Bumble and Bumble. For the final “wild hair” look, Lauren used a selection of Sebastian products, including Microweb Fiber and Shaper Hair Spray.
We began with a simple and polished look for Polyanna. We perfected her skin with Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, Kevyn Aucoin Contour in Medium, and Kevyn Aucoin Highlighter in Candlelight. We completed her look with Tom Ford Lipstick in Coco Ravish.
Once things got a little more edgy, we punked up Polyanna’s look with bright contour, using Chanel Blush in Rose Tourbillion, and a strong lip with MAC Violetta Lipstick.
For Polyanna’s wild hair look, we smoked out her eyes, and finished the look with OCC Lip Tars in Safety Orange and Tarred.
