Although Alejandra’s foray into shoe design positions her as a bit of a fashion outsider, the story of how she became what will soon be one of the most prestigious shoe designers is one of determination and persistence.

Not too long ago I noticed the Lenin Sculpture “Miss Mao Trying to Poise Herself at the Top of Lenin’s Head” by the Chinese artist brothers Gao Zhen and Gao Qiang. It is a very unique sculpture that adds something special to what was an empty lot in an area about to receive a renovation. Every neighborhood should have a Chrome Vladimir.

The Statement’s Jeff Linett had an interesting idea to combine sexy Playboy Bunnies with high fashion. He ran his idea by AGENDA MAGAZINE’s editor, and at first it wasn’t received as well as he had hoped. “This is a respectable fashion magazine. I don’t think it will work,” said Kaylene Peoples.
