These four collections by Sauvage, Aquarella Swimwear, Côte D’Or Swimwear, and Aguaclara were not afraid to show a little extra skin, combine eye-popping colors with a lot of style. This was a group show held in the Cabana Grande at the Raleigh Hotel during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim 2013 on July 23, 2012.

Sauvage designer Elizabeth Southwood had great cover-ups made with durable, yet delicate fabrics—swimsuits enhancing the total look with color and class. Click the image below to see the collection.

Aquarella Swimwear designer Veronica de la Cruz used subtle palettes and figure-flattering cuts.  Hers was a more traditional swimwear line but nonetheless very effective and definitely wearable for the more modest wearer.  Click the image below to see the collection.

Côte D’Or Swimwear designers Kevin Fitzpatrick and Stephanie Theis Fajardo had a combination of styles from the itsy bitsy bikini to the asymmetrical one-piece.  Black was a welcome color.  Click the image below to see the collection.

Aguaclara Swimwear designer Liliana Villalobos’s line was filled with vivid colors, skin-baring bikinis, and one of the few collections that showed animal prints in a new way—not your usual colors.  Sprinkled in this collection were airy long dresses, perfect for the evening; that could also double as casual cover-ups.
