Bunny Brunel’s CAB performed to a sold out crowd at the famous Baked Potato in Studio City on August 17, 2019. The lineup that evening featured Bunny Brunel (fretless), Virgil Donati (drums), Dennis Hamm (keys) Alex Sill (guitar), and Kaylene Peoples (flute/vocals). From the very first note the audience was treated to music that rocked the house.

On October 9th, weSPARK Cancer Support Center presented “May Contain Nuts! A Night of Comedy” at the Skirball Cultural Center which was a fund-raiser honoring Larry King and Alonzo Bodden.  On the red carpet that evening were Larry King (talk-show host, author), Alonzo Bodden (comedian, actor), Marcus Miller (jazz bassist, recording artist), Nancy Allen (actress, executive director of weSpark), Wendy Liebman (comedian), Mark DeCarlo (actor, television host), and Ed Begley, Jr. (actor).

The 2nd Annual San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival kicked off their fabulous concert on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Embarcadero Marina Park North with a sizzling hot lineup that soared with talent all day long. The dashing and super sonic sax player, Eric Darius hosted the day, as well as the headliner act to that evening. Pat Prescott of 94.7 The WAVE and San Diego’s own radio host Kelly Cole lent their masterful talents that weekend to announce the acts.

Shari Belafonte: The one thing that needs to happen in our industry is that women need to come out and support other women. We had a hard way to go and we still have a hard way to go. A lot of women who have made it up into the upper echelons have become very protective of their space, and they were still reluctant to embrace other women in the industry, but hopefully that is going to change right now. I sympathize with them. I was one of those women who didn’t take sh*t from producers who were hitting on me.
