It’s full steam ahead on the K-Beauty train, and the luxury brand Sulwhasoo continues to lead the charge. The company has enjoyed a steady following for its luxury skin care collection since releasing it in the United States. Cushion foundations followed soon after, along with a small collection of makeup bases with an emphasis on complexion care. Recently, Sulwhasoo turned its attention to color with a curated collection of correctors, highlighter, blushes and lipsticks.

Like the skin care collection, Each product is infused with ingredients designed to leave your skin in better condition each time you use it. The Makeup Balancer acts as a first step in your makeup routine, and features an antioxidant berry complex to target dullness associated with mature skin. It’s designed to plump skin and keep it hydrated (without going oily) throughout the day. It comes in three colors: Pink (with pomegranate extract) to brighten, light purple (with peony extract) to target dull skin, and light green (with licorice) to soothe away redness.

The Radiance Blusher falls in line with most other K-Beauty offerings, with a whisper of color designed to enhance your overall complexion. Part highlighter, part blusher, this formula applies light and layers to medium intensity. Pink Harmony suits pale complexions with a brightening benefit, and Coral Harmony is enhances medium complexions with a warm glow.

The Multi-Cushion Highlighter adds an additional ray of light that looks so natural, it’s nearly undetectable. Instead of adding a layer of shimmer or glitter, it fuses with your skin to literally give you a ‘lit from within’ finish. The neutral shade works on most skin tones, and works best if patted on with the provided pad then blended with fingers.

The Essential Serum Lipstick falls in line with the rest of the color collection, by focusing first on skincare and adding just a whisper of color. A combination of camellia oil, apricot kernel oil and safflower oil target dryness and keep lips plump. There are two ‘clear’ colors: Apricot to prep the lips, and Blossom to add an additional flush of color over a finished look. This lipstick comes in 8 shades, from the softest pink to a vivid red.

The color collection is available on the Sulwhasoo website, or major department stores including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.
