For “The Statement” Jeff Linett gathered together an eclectic collection of some of the latest fashions by LA couture designers for his “LOS ANGELES DESIGNER SHOWCASE.”

Merlin Castell’s designs lend themselves to all kinds of themes. This particular editorial gives us that futuristic feel. Whether this “Andromeda” comes from the Greek myth that Andromeda was the daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, king and queen of the kingdom Aethiopia; or this “Andromeda” is represented in the northern sky by the constellation Andromeda, which contains the Andromeda Galaxy . . . it doesn’t really matter!

After a hiatus of several years he has returned to designing sleek, sophisticated and timeless collections fort the women who desire his modern minimalist approach to fashion. Keeter’s important day and evening designs embody the principle established by American designer Halston, “Less is more.”
